I ordered a NFL King Cake for our daughter just a week ago, it arrived in time, but it was not what we expected. My daughter said she had to add the topping and everything. I expected it to have all the icing and everything on it as if I picked it up from Paul’s. I ordered it as a Pittsburg Steelers, that is my daughters team. I known she should be Saints, she did cheer for our team at the 49ers upset. I would like it, to get what I ordered or to explain this is how the cake is shipped. Thanks Still love your cakes.
James, I am so sorry there was a misunderstanding about the king cake when it was delivered. On our home page on the web site we do show and explain that we ship the king cakes with the packets of sugars and glaze included. When the king cake arrives it is much fresher and the sugars are not all melted down. You are welcome to request it be decorated before we ship it. Everyone tells us how much fun they have decorating it when the king cake arrives. I hope we included Steelers colors for her. Thank you for your inquiry.
My dad had a king cake delivered to me from Paul’s. It was the freshest one I’ve ever received. I have had many king cakes mailed with the toppings on it, only to have a soggy mess that has to go straight in the trash! Will only order from Paul’s and leaving the toppings off during delivery is really the only way to go!!
I sent my son a KC to Jersey City last year and he too enjoyed decorating it himself. I think it’s a great idea.
I love pauls pastry shop cakes my brother had brought one and it was racecar it was fantastic very fantastic i loved it the flavors and all.
