\"Duff<\/a>This was a cake competition we were in this weekend in Hattiesburg at the Thad Cochran Center on the USM Campus. We participated in the By Invitation Only Special Events “A Bridal Affair,” Fall Bridal Expo and “A Piece of Cake” Cake Competition held Sunday, Oct 24 featuring The Food Networks Ace of Cakes star Duff Goldman and America’s 1st Master Chef, Whitney Miller.<\/p>\r\n

We all worked very hard planning & implementing this project. We have a great team of talented people who worked on this project. We are Blessed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

We placed 2nd in the show out of 18 very skilled cake decorating teams from around MS & LA and won $500.00. Duff presented the awards. Duff and Whitney came and took pictures and all of us as well. We had a great time.<\/p>\r\n

I want to thank Jacey for an outstanding job on her buttercream decorations–everything was awesome; Ms Donna for doing such an amazing job icing this cake; Ed for mixing the filling flavors; Jeff & Clay for baking all the cake layers; Ashley for making the fondant pieces; Tiffany for helping with the public relations at our table; Laci for helping us to set this up; & Robert & Laci for driving and your patience. I want to thank all of the girls for helping to serve at our table. A special Thanks goes to all of our employees who worked so hard on this project. I was very proud of our cake and feel that we are all winners!! We had a wonderful time and got to meet Duff and Whitney! God Bless you all.<\/p>\r\n
